Are you a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist?
Dr. Brennan is not a licensed Registered Dietitian (RD)/Nutritionist. Dr. Brennan has been trained in holistic, integrative, and functional nutrition and thus, as a non-RD, does not call herself a nutritionist. Additionally, beyond her holistic, functional, and integrative nutrition education, Dr. Brennan has trained in, studied, or is certified in herbs, muscle testing, meditation, breathwork, behavior change management, mindfulness, preventive nutrition guidance, and much more. Dr. Brennan, who holds a PhD, does not treat, cure, diagnose, prescribe, or provide medical nutrition therapy. She also does not see patients but works with her clients.
You may be able to use your flexible spending account to cover consultation services. Otherwise, the services Dr. Brennan offers are elective and outside the scope of allopathic medicine and licensed Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist services. Dr. Brennan has made her services more affordable than those of some other holistic, integrative, and functional health practitioners.

No. Dr. Brennan has a Phd and is not a medical doctor and does not prescribe any medications.

Muscle testing and Scalar therapy are offered in-person only in Chuckey, TN. Consultations can be conducted in person or remotely. When scheduling a consultation, note whether it is in-person or remote.

No. All appointments must be scheduled. This is because Dr. Brennan spends a great deal of time preparing for your consultation to assist you as best as possible.

No. If you need to cancel, you can text, email, or call Dr. Brennan to reschedule the appointment.

Dr. Brennan realizes that the schedule provided may not work for you. If you do not see a time that works for you, you can email her at drkarenbrennan@yahoo.com with your preferred days/times and time zone, and she will get back to you.

Yes, you can! You can add muscle testing or Scalar therapy to your health plan, but they are offered as standalone services. These services are for in-person clients only.

Yes, you can!. Once scheduled, Dr. Brennan will reach out to you to collect the labs if she did not order them.

For in-person consultations by appointment only, the office is located in a cozy cabin on the Nolichucky River in Chuckey, TN, in the eastern part of TN, 20 minutes from Greeneville, TN, and 35 minutes from Johnson City, TN.
